  Kazakh folk jeweller's art occupies a particular place in the history of national culture. In its development the Kazakh jeweller's art elaborated on old traditions and was influenced by the cultures of contiguous peoples. The zergers produced a wide range of objects which incluted  female  adornments, details for a costume, toilet  accesories, table silver, plates to decorate the vedden frame of the   yurt, furniture, vodden and  leather  utensils, musical instruments, weapons and harness.  The zergers usuallu produced women;s jewellery, a commodity iin great demand with people of every walk of life. Thas was determinded  not only by their aesthetic value, but also by sime functional purposes rqelated with customs, rites, with the entire ideological and religious set-up.

Adornments of the Guryev and Uralsk regions are similar to nielloed articles of the peoples of Dagestan, which shows itself in the artistic form and ornamentation.

Incised and embossed ornaments prevailing mainly in Central and Eastern Kazakhstan are known for their unlavish artistic taste.

They can also be found in the northern and partly southern regions.

This artistic device especially clearly shows itself in adornments of Southern Kazakhstan and is characterised by bright polychromy. One ornament may combine a flaming coral, a green chrystoprase, a blue turquoise and a yellow agate.

Stamped and embossed adornments prevail in Central, Eastern and partly Northern Kazakhstan.

Jewelriers from the Southern Kazakhstan is distinquish blazing multicolored which can combine bright red coral, green chrysolite, blen turquoise and yellow agate.

The collections of  Kazakhis jewelries represented in the museum's exposition demonstrate aesthetic discoveries and imagebearing achievements of Kazak's jewellers.
